BC PINOT NOIR

Chilean MALBEC
With cool temperatures and plenty of sunshine Chile has ideal growing conditions for this full-bodied wine. Prestige - Cellar Craft
California Reserve PINOT NOIR
We use 10.5 litres of California Pinot Noir must (and an accent of Pinotage) fermented on a 1.5 litre virgin California Pinot Noir crushed grape pack and French oak for this bright and fruity wine. Expect to enjoy lively black cherry and, cranberry aromas and flavours against subtle spice and almond in the background. A few months ageing will subdue the oak and tannins to let the fruit shine and define the medium length finish. May be cellared for a year or more. The soft, light to medium-bodied wine may be lightly chilled and enjoyed as an aperitif or with chicken, pork and simple beef dishes (not recommended for your best steaks or rich, braised foods). Pairs well with salmon.
Global Cuvée BARBERA
10.5 litres of must using California and Italian Barbera is fermented on a 1.5 litre virgin California Barbera crushed grape pack and untoasted American oak to deliver a medium-bodied wine with unique complexity and character. Deep crimson colour. Fruity aromatics, dominated by raspberry and blackberry, with lightly spicy notes and a suggestion of vanilla. Well-rounded mouth-feel. Flavours of black fruit and a nice finish. Six months ageing is recommended to refine the balance between fruit, spice, tannins and oak. Will continue to develop for more than a year.This wine should match well with a wide variety of hearty foods. Italian pasta with tomatoes, eggplant, chicken or red meats. Anything barbequed.
California Reserve MERLOT
California Merlot with 1.5 litres virgin crushed California MERLOT grape pack. The wine releases aromas of raspberry and cherry and a subtle toasted note, followed by flavours of raspberry and strawberry. Gentle tannins and well integrated oak contribute structure to the fruit driven profile without being too aggressive. Should show its true character in about 6 months but will continue to develop for at least a year. This soft red pairs with red meats and will work well with roast chicken.
California Reserve CABERNET
This California Cabernet,fermented on a 1.5 litre virgin crushed California Cabernet Sauvignon grape pack,delivers a characteristically firm-tannin wine with loads of black fruit character made more interesting by the vanilla notes from the oak.The aromatics suggest blackberry and black currant. Flavour is centered around red and black currants,which remain evident through the nice finish. 6 months aging should reveal a harmonized wine with somewhat softened tannins but the wine will improve for a year or two. This is a wine to serve with beef and lamb.
California Reserve SYRAH
California Syrah fermented on a 1.5 litre virgin crushed California Syrah grape pack produces a complex wine which reveals notes of red currant, black pepper, vanilla and toast all wrapped together in a slightly earthy manner. Gentle tannins guide the wine through a nice finish. Age at least 6 months to enjoy the integrated flavour. Will continue to develop for at least a year or two and probably longer. A great wine for hearty barbequed meats.
Global Cuvée AMARONE style
Uses an Italian Valpolicella blend made with Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. Fermented on a 1.5 litre virgin crushed grape pack made from equal portions of California Cabernet and Barbera grapes and sun-dried red wine grapes. A robust wine with an earthy aroma backed by notes of spice and vanilla. When young, concentrated flavours of black cherry and figs compete with un-mellowed oak, firm tannins and an alcohol level above 14%. Six months in the bottle will bring harmony to the flavours and softer tannins for a rich, well-rounded mouth feel and lingering finish. Another year or two of aging will create a truly special wine. This wine can be enjoyed sipped like port or ready to take on your most robust foods like game, sticky ribs, rich pasta or blue cheese.

Barolo
Deep in color and high in tannin, this wine is tops in its class when it comes to being full-bodied and robust. Its intensity will roll thickly over your palate. Oaking is recommended. Excellent for both early consumption and long term ageing. One of the more intense red wines on the market today, any food served with this should be spicy or deep-flavored so the wine will not overpower the flavors.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Considered the noblest of all grapes, this full-bodied red is dark in color and aggressive in nature. A hint of violet is present in the bouquet, typical of this variety. It's superbly enhanced by oaking, and does well with age. The aggressive nature of this wine suits a barbecue, steak, and roast beef.
Chianti
A red wine, aggressive in nature, it is crisp, clean and spicy with a subtle black pepper flavor. This is the ultimate sangria base. A perfect mate to Italian food.
Grande Shiraz
(or Syrah) are names for the same grape which is grown in France and the US as Syrah and in Australia and South Africa as Shiraz. Bursting with a ripe berry nose and bold layers of oak, its incredible rich, deep colour and full body explode with jammy, vibrant fruit.
Merlot
A smooth rich wine, medium dark in color, tasting of blackberry and currants. You'll note a hint of green olive in the nose. While it ages well, it can be consumed young. If lamb is your meal of choice, this wine is guaranteed to please.
Pinot Noir
A rich red wine, hearty in nature, smooth in flavor. The soft texture and dark color compliment the flavors of berry fruit, with a subtle raspberry undertone. It ages gracefully, developing a velvety flavor. suitable for an evening with friends, it is also a fine compliment to veal and salmon.
Rosso Grande
Vibrant aromas and flavours of black cherries, ripe berries, violets and subtle oak. Similar to Cabernet Sauvignon in aroma and taste, this powerful wine has finesse and elegance.
Spanish Tempranillo
Spanish Tempranillo has the aroma of ripe blackberries mingled with plums and prunes. Firm, yet round, tannins underpin a long and complex fruity finish with hints of vanilla, chocolate and hearty oak. This is a medium to full-bodied elegant and graceful wine with great aging potential.
Valpolicella
An intense deep-colored red wine boasting a velvety yet fruity flavor, with a long, lingering finish. Excellent when young, the well-balanced tannic flavors also make this an excellent wine for ageing. Raisiny and floral, it is suitable for a heavy meal or as a social wine. Some prefer this served chilled.
Vieux Chateau du Roi
This hearty rich wine is aggressive in nature. It is extremely dark in color and tannic in flavor, with a hint of plum. It ages well. A complex blend of varietals. Wild game dishes are sure to please with this wine on your table.
Zinfandel
Dark in color, with a firm concentrated flavor, this zinfandel shows layers of plum and raspberry both in the glass and mouth. With just the right amount of tannin this wine is excellent with red meats, rich pasta dishes, and well-aged cheese. A popular wine that will make a welcome addition to your cellar.
